A French naval ship christened Bsaom Champlain made its first call to the port of Mombasa on 19th April 2019. The multipurpose ship currently patrolling the Mozambique Channel off the Madagascar Island offers support and assistance overseas ranging from patrol, salvage and rescues missions.
Our students had the rare opportunity to interact and speak French with native speakers. This exposure is worthwhile for learners.
