Mr. C.C Osundwa - Founder and Director

Founder Background:
C.C Osundwa (Kenya) – Directeur Fondateur (Founder Director) and Project Consultant.
Mr. Osundwa has a Bachelor of Arts ( Hons.) in Language (French) and Linguistics from Moi University (Eldoret Kenya) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi (Kenya). He also has done training in Linguistic Perfection from University of La Réunion. (St. Denis L’Ile de la Réunion -France). He has a wide and rich experience in teaching spanning over 22 years within Kenyan National curriculum and British international curriculum (Both Edexcel and Cambridge).

A renowned teacher, translator and interpreter in international forums and conferences. Notable institutions that have shaped and powered his professional career and experience include Jaffery Academy, Oshwal Academy, Mombasa Academy and Braeburn Group of International Schools.
An experienced outdoor teacher with tremendous love and passion for the environment, conservation, adventure, and outdoor activities. President’s Award Scheme, canoeing, camping, mountaineering, rock climbing and abseiling form part of youth leadership programs that have been continuously undertaken by him during his teaching career.

Maville Academy is a private co-educational day school, founded in 2012. Recognized for its rigorous, innovative educational curriculum and offers its students a breadth of stimulating and challenging programs taught by our dedicated faculty.
Our all-inclusive approach to education has an equivalent emphasis on academics, sport, music, drama and the arts. With such rich and diverse curricula, enables us to extend the learning experiences and provides our pupils with the skills they need to succeed beyond the school.
With a teacher student ratio of 1:15, resulting in the best teacher to pupil ratios and discerned teaching practices, we work to ensure that each and every child is closely monitored and able to reach their full potential.  We inspire learners to be open, in a learner-led method, both within and beyond the classroom.
Maville Academy has a special needs extended faculty that can help and take care of pupils with certain learning and physical needs, considered on a case-by-case basis. We purpose to provide a stimulating, safe environment where learners feel appreciated and excited about coming to school, where they can enjoy a wholesome, satisfying education that prepares them for higher education.

Milestone

The school began as a kindergarten offering early years education based on Kenya national curriculum. Currently, it has a fully fledged primary school.
In August, 2014. The school received two presidential awards after emerging top in public speaking and special creative category in the competitions organised by A.S.K Mombasa International show congress for schools in Mombasa County.
